Job Purpose Statement:

·         In coordination with the concerned Ramp Operation, Asst. Manager, plans, organizes, directs and controls the operations activities and staff within the area of responsibilities in order to achieve Company set goals and objectives.

·         The Scope Outlines functions of Senior Supervisor Positions assigned in Transport section.

·         Reports primarily to the concerned Ramp Operation, Asst. Manager and to the Manager during the absence of the concerned Ramp Operation, Asst. Manager.

Roles & Responsibility

1.          Ensures the compliance of existing and revised procedures and instructions issued from time to time and guides staff on the latest working procedures ensuring that they are always followed strictly.

2.          Coordinates with other Sections and Departments for any Operational requirements.

3.          Assists Supervisors in handling disturbance in Operation.

4.          Coordinates with the Duty manager during emergency situations.

5.          Ensures his presence in the area of maximum activity to monitor and assist.

6.          Participates in meetings as required.

7.          Ensures that staffs working under his area are aware of the Departmental Objectives and Policies.

8.          Assists concerned Asst. Manager in peak operation planning, preparation of Annual Budget and activity plan of the Section.

9.          Ensures regular follow up on the results of performance reporting system, suggests improvement aimed at achieving economy in operational costs.

10.      Recommends promotions within the Section with justification.

11.      Coordinates with Technical Department for all repairs and maintenance required in his area.

12.      Ensures completion/submission of TAS on time.

13.      Ensures follow up on medical check-up of all staff as per plan.

14.      Responsible for loading/offload
