Service Agent, B&I and Remote Sites

Main duties/tasks:

· By utilising resources available, work as effectively and efficiently as possible to ensure the service is provided to the agreed standards.

· Always maintain accommodation areas in a clean and sanitary condition including deep cleaning programme.

· Cleaning, buffering, hovering, sweeping and washing floors, walls and ceilings to be carried out in accordance with company procedures and safe systems of work to the contract specified standard, and recorded in the cleaning schedules.

· Ensure all laundry is done to clients satisfaction and contract specification

· Accompany supervisor on daily and weekly inspections of areas of your responsibility.

· Maintain cleanliness of all catering equipment.

· Ensure all laundry is done to clients satisfaction and contract specification.

· Ensure kitchen and all its equipment are maintained in a clean and hygienic manner.

· Ensure mess is always kept clean.

· Assist in the preparation and serving of meals.

· Ensure adequate supplies of cutlery and crockery are available throughout service times.

· Ensure adequate supplies of Kitchen equipment are available to chefs.

· Manage the pot wash area.

· Assist in unloading containers/stores.

·       Assist in timely preparation of items requested by the various departments for issuance.

·       Assist in receiving and counter checking all storerooms deliveries.

·       Ensure proper arrangement of all inventory stock items to facilitate easy issuance and items identification.

·       Maintain all storeroom areas to the highest corporate safety & hygiene standards, guided by QHSC team.

·       Responsible for reporting any storeroom maintenance requirements.

·       Assist in storeroom inventory stock taking upon request.

·       Writing, placing, and tracking purchase orders.

·       Compiling reports on product performance and statistics.

·       Working with warehouse staff to compare deliveries with purchase orders to identify discrepancies.

·       Assist the buyer in using accurate data to determine purchasing needs and performing inventory management.

· Notify line supervisor of any defects/faults or maintenance requirements within areas of responsibility. Report all accidents, incidents and any injuries. Report any customer complaints immediately.

· Ensure all duties and responsibilities are undertaken in full compliance of the Health and Safety.

· Embrace company training and development and culture by SACC.

· Attending Client and Company training courses as deemed necessary.

· Fully support and participate in all Client and Company safety initiatives.

· Carry out additional duties and any other tasks, as requested by the manager.

· Ensure work is conducted hygienically at all times 7 safe systems of work are followed

· Take personal responsibility for closing identified development gaps and future requirements.

· Personal competencies are known, understood, adhered to and updated on an ongoing basis.

· Ensure the personal working hygiene standards meet both the company and statutory requirements Communication/Contact with others.

· Attended daily site meetings, toolbox talk and weekly HSE.

Responsibility for machinery/equipment/materials/consumables:

·       Ensuring correct use, safe operations and always keeping clean and hygienic

·       Basic maintenance and preparation for use on an as and when required basis.

·       Completing work in terms of Safe Systems of Work

·       Knowledge and competency in the use of cleaning materials and chemicals as approved under COSHH regulations ensuring, at all times, that all chemicals are stored correctly according to COSHH regulations.

·       Report any defective equipment and do not use.

·        Good moral character, obedient, hardworking, and service oriented.

·        Can read, write, and speak English.

·        Ability to work as part of a team.

·        Well organized
