Officer, Dietician

• Oversee the daily operations and performance of the clinical dietetics services across assigned units.

• Develop and execute individualized nutrition care plans tailored to patient medical conditions and dietary needs.

• Deliver nutrition counseling and educational sessions to patients, families, and caregivers.

• Assess and calculate patients' nutritional requirements, including caloric and macronutrient needs.

• Review and adjust dietary plans and menu options based on patients’ clinical progress and feedback.

• Monitor and verify the accuracy of patient meal trays against prescribed dietary requirements.

• Support the application of medical nutrition therapy for disease management and recovery.

• Ensure consistent implementation of the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) in patient treatment protocols.

• Collaborate with food services to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and nutritional quality.

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to align nutrition plans with overall patient care strategies.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of nutritional assessments, plans, and outcomes.

• Conduct audits and quality control checks on food preparation and patient satisfaction with meals.

• Stay updated with the latest clinical nutrition guidelines and apply evidence-based practices.

• Provide training and guidance to junior dietitians, interns, or healthcare staff when required.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
